Job Summary
Coordinate daily production activities and workflows within the custom assembly department, adjusting staff schedules to meet efficiency targets. Lead a team by assigning tasks, managing shift handovers, and providing real-time feedback while training new hires on SOPs and safety protocols. Monitor equipment for malfunctions, troubleshoot production delays, and conduct quality checks to identify defects and root causes. Track production metrics, enforce safety standards, and recommend process improvements to ensure timely product delivery and compliance with quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- prior leadership experience
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk for 8+ hours without assistance
- Hearing and vision to normal range
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially rotating shift environment
- Must be available for 1st Shift: Monday--Thursday: 5:30am -- 3:00pm & Friday: 5:30am -- Noon
