Job Summary
Conduct store opening, closing, and front-end processes while managing freight, sorting, stocking, and end-cap maintenance. Coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing for sales and customer experience, ensuring compliance with timekeeping and labor model standards. Plan and execute daily zone workloads, delegate tasks, and lead training sessions to drive productivity and appraise results. Maintain a neat, organized warehouse-format store, manage inventory control, and uphold safety and loss prevention protocols. Work nights, weekends, and holidays, lifting 50 lbs individually and 100 lbs as a team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Background Check will be completed
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations
