Job Summary
The Operations Lead will join the store leadership team in Naperville, driving profitability and efficiency through inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, and end-to-end store operations. Responsibilities include leading inventory management processes, investigating root causes of discrepancies with the GM, overseeing shipments, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management; maintaining strong visual standards on the sales floor; ensuring a safe work environment and efficient stockroom operations; managing reporting, budgets, expenses, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities; leveraging metrics to guide business decisions; moving dynamically on the retail floor to support business needs; and directly supervising Operations Associates, including recruitment and development. Additional duties include cross-functional training with the Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead, and executing company directives in collaboration with the Operations & Visual Manager. Qualifications emphasize leadership, communication, energy, and alignment with ALO’s guiding principles. The role is full-time (32-40 hours per week with variable shifts and holiday period availability) with a base pay range of $19.00-$23.00 per hour in Naperville, IL, and eligibility for bonus incentives. Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision making
- High energy, upbeat and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
