Job Summary
Operations Lead responsible for driving profitability and efficiency in the Edinburgh store. Lead inventory management and stockroom processes to maximize accuracy and minimize shrink, coordinate shipments/receiving/processing, maintain strong visual standards, and ensure safe, efficient operations. Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager on budgets, expenses, inventory control, and vendor relationships; move dynamically on the retail floor to support business needs and guest experience; directly oversee Operations Associates, including recruitment and development. Promote cross-functional training with Visual and Sales & Service leads; execute company-level directives in collaboration with the Operations & Visual Manager. Requires full-time availability (32-40 hours/week) with opening/closing shifts and peak-season coverage. Proof of right to live and work in the UK.

- Prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision making
- Values feedback, receptive to receiving feedback and eager to provide
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Aligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding Principles
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
