Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations spanning People Ops, finance, IT, legal, and compliance to keep Embeddable running smoothly during a fixed-term maternity cover period through September 2027. Manage onboarding, offboarding, payroll, bank accounts, and forecasting while handling contracts, insurance, and SOC2 accreditation. Optimize workflows in Google Workspace and Notion, support talent acquisition, and coordinate bi-annual team off-sites. Work closely with the Exec team to solve complex problems and streamline systems. Remote, UK-based role requiring 3+ days per week (8 hours/day) with a salary of £45k–£55k.

- 5+ years' experience
- People Ops management
- Finance and payroll processes
- Building and managing policies and procedures
- Streamlining and optimising processes
- Employment law and general legal principles
- Google Sheets/Excel
- EOR management
- Remote/hybrid team engagement
- International subsidiary management, particularly in Germany
- Budgets, forecasting, financial report building
- Google Workspace
- Notion
- HiBob
- Xero
- Slack
- Stripe
- Effective and empathetic communicator
- Observant and detail oriented, when it comes to both people and data
- Natural multitasker with a great ability to (de)prioritise
- Fluent in English
- Fixed-term maternity cover contract
- Full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 3 days per week (8 hours per day)
