Job Summary
Lead secured transportation operations and guide Driver/Messengers in handling currency, ensuring compliance with company policies and security procedures. Conduct field inspections, assign vehicles to routes, and coordinate Armored and ATM schedules to meet customer requirements. Provide training on ATM services, assist with new employee onboarding, and support branch opening and closing procedures. Consult daily with the Branch Manager and proactively reduce risk exposure and work's compensation injury costs. Maintain professional appearance while traveling for temporary duties at other locations as necessary. Requires valid driver's license, sidearm permit, and DOT medical certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Degree
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Applicable local and state permits or licenses to carry a sidearm
- Minimum 2 years of Driver/Messenger and ATM experience in transportation or related logistics field
- Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Full range of motion and ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl, ascend/descend steps, etc., including while carrying objects weighing up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Normal hearing, with or without device, so as to be able to safely operate motor vehicles, forklifts, and communication devices
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, up to 6-8 hours a day
- Normal manual dexterity
- Ability to properly and safely utilize one or more types of firearms
- Subject to substance abuse testing under Company policy and possibly Department of Transportation guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in a lead or training role
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with no air-brake restrictions
