Job Summary
Execute all store opening, closing, and front-end processes while maintaining building security and operational readiness. Coordinate staffing with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize traffic and sales support, manage daily zone workloads, and assign tasks to meet store and department goals. Drive productivity through training, coaching, and appraising results, leveraging huddles to teach customer experience topics. Process incoming freight, sort merchandise, stock shelves, and maintain end cap standards in a warehouse-format environment. Perform vigorous lifting, carrying, and moving duties while ensuring safety, loss prevention, and inventory control. Work flexible nights, weekends, and holidays to uphold ethical conduct and documented company standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Background Check will be completed
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations
