Job Summary
Lead the 2nd shift operations team by driving safety, quality, production, and efficiency goals through daily performance monitoring and real-time shop floor oversight. Serve as the primary backup to the Operations Manager, handling shift communications, reporting, timekeeping, and operational decision-making during absences. Coach and mentor Coater, Press, and Die Cutter Operators while troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards. Manage ink preparation, equipment setup, and production support, including inspecting printed products for defect-free output. Prioritize staffing to meet production needs and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S audits.
Required Qualifications
- One to Five years previous flexographic printing experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical Certification or Associates Degree in printing processes
- Pre-employment requires: drug screen, background check, and clear MVR
Desired Qualifications
- One to Five years previous coating experience
