Unload pallets, boxes, and bundles; handle, sort, and push materials into hoppers, boxes, and conveyor belts. Unpack items by cutting wires, separating plastics, and removing packaging components. Disassemble small equipment, cut wires, torque pipe fittings, and remove bolts from automobile and appliance parts. Operate recycling machinery including metal shears, band saws, and wire strippers. Direct yard vehicle traffic and perform light facility maintenance such as painting, scraping, and moving furniture. Execute maintenance tasks by selecting tools, installing parts, and assisting with machinery repair. Maintain housekeeping through sweeping, cleaning, shoveling, and debris collection while organizing materials for efficient space use. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure work areas remain neat and orderly.
