Job Summary
Inventory Control Clerk needed to support manufacturing/warehouse operations. Responsible for receiving and verifying shipments, entering and maintaining inventory records, unloading raw materials into silos/storage locations, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring inventory integrity. Must use ERP/inventory management software and Microsoft Office, coordinate with Purchasing/Production/Quality/Warehouse, support safety initiatives, and potentially supervise 1-4 associates. Strong attention to detail, data-entry accuracy, time management, and ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment are required. Forklift experience or certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using inventory management, ERP, receiving, or warehouse management software
- Ability to accurately maintain records and perform data entry
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain certification
- Basic Hazard Communication
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Forklift Training
- On-the-Job Safety Review
- Must be able to multitask in a potentially high-stress environment
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
