Job Summary
Inspect commercial trailer equipment for safety, condition, and compliance with Federal Highway Guidelines. Coordinate trailer maintenance and repair work with vendors while ensuring completed tasks follow company policies. Assist with daily inbound and outbound gate activity to maintain accurate equipment flow through the branch. Provide support to customers by communicating by phone and email, and assist with rental/leasing agreements, insurance reviews, and operational documentation. Gain exposure to financial operations by supporting Accounts Receivable collections and Accounts Payable activities. This 10-week paid summer internship runs May 31 through August 6, 2027, with an 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday schedule at the Dallas, TX branch and Plano, TX corporate office.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program
- Rising junior or senior
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week for the full May 31 - August 6, 2027 internship period with minimum absences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Comfort working in both office and outdoor branch-yard environments
- Willingness to learn about commercial trailer equipment
