Operations Intern - Bidding and Sourcing (Energy)

Job Summary
Source materials and services, develop supplier relationships, and evaluate pricing, quality, and delivery timeliness. Negotiate for optimal prices and terms, then track performance and prepare purchase orders. Coordinate material delivery and conduct market research to identify clients and competitors. Help prepare bid proposals and tenders while analyzing data to support bidding decisions. Assist in creating client presentations and liaise with internal teams for necessary information. This internship offers exposure to the Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors through NoemDek's specialized EPC services and international partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 0-1 year of experience in bidding and sourcing activities
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
