Job Summary
Coordinate incoming and outgoing referrals, answer department phone calls, and schedule patient follow-up appointments across West/Main, East, and South/WHSmith areas. Greet patients, secure accurate information, collect balances and copayments, and ensure prompt check-in/out service. Schedule and coordinate hospital procedures for providers, maintain provider schedules, and verify appointment attendance. Serve as backup to administrative staff during high-volume days, vacations, or call-outs. Assist with Aledade no-show and recall reports, manage multi-line phones, and operate fax machines. Utilize NextGen and Centricity EMR systems. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with potential overtime and rare weekend availability.
