Job Summary
Analyze headcount, vendor, and capital expenditure expenses with a focus on volume, rate, and mix drivers. Lead reporting, analysis, and forecasting for selected organizational expenses, addressing departmental variances to budget and identifying savings opportunities. Produce monthly performance reports for operational teams and communicate results to Senior Leadership. Monitor capital expenditures to assist with ROI analysis. Act as a vital member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis. This Staffing role supports LoanCare, a leading national mortgage loan subservicer backed by Fidelity National Financial, in optimizing profitability across operating and support functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 3+ years in FP&A or Corporate Finance
- proven experience in modeling, forecasting, and executive communication
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in capital budgeting and project finance
- Ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours
- Ability to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Certified Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certifications
- Previous experience in an FP&A role within the mortgage subservicing or servicing industries
- Experience or transferable skills leveraging digital tools such as Power BI, SQL with demonstrated ability to succinctly analyze large amounts of data
