Job Summary
Oversee all manufacturing equipment and property management, leading direct and indirect team members with focus on 5S, Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Facility Management. Review operations constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, initiate and manage the plant maintenance program based on industry best practices, and approve purchase orders and invoices. Implement and monitor budgets, labor efficiency, and safety standards including lock out/tag out procedures, while ensuring maintenance staff are adequately trained and motivated. Lead planning for plant improvements, shutdowns, and expansions, and manage contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance. Complete annual performance reviews for maintenance staff and maintain inventories of spare parts and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management
- Several years of manufacturing management experience
- preferably wire manufacturing
- Effective computer skills
- Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding and implementation skills of IATF16949
- Demonstrated ability to lead an organization
- Team oriented individual
- Ability to think strategically
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
