Job Summary
Monitor site-level labor, inventory, and service performance using dashboards to identify issues and drive corrective actions across assigned Americold facilities. Validate time-studied standards, calculate performance incentives, and coach operations teams on labor management, inventory control, and process improvement tools. Lead continuous improvement projects, develop project scopes and estimates, and build best practice SOP libraries to enhance customer service and reduce costs. Create scheduling tools reflecting accurate work content and evaluate material handling equipment and warehouse technology applications. Conduct audits and comparative site analyses to establish benchmarks for inventory control excellence while ensuring Work Force Management accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree such as Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Logistics
- 6+ years of work experience in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Continuous Improvement and PMO skill
- Proficiency with RF Scanning and Warehouse Management Systems
- Experienced at providing Engineering support to multiple sites
- Strong analytical skills
- Exposure to leading multisite engineering projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office
- Strong time management skills
- Strong change management skills
- Ability to read and utilize financial data
- High travel position, up to 75%
- Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions
- Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending
- Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work
- Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks
- May require travel by automobile and airplane for business
- May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing
- May require carrying loads related to travel and the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds
- Requires the use of various electronic tools

- Experience with the distribution/warehouse/logistics industry
- Automation experience
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely manner with little or no supervision

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
