Job Summary
Lead a team of manufacturing and test engineers to drive operational excellence across production assembly and test processes in a high-mix, low-volume environment. Develop, lead and manage staff, improve and validate testing processes for existing and new products using LEAN Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing principles, develop capital plans, and drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, quality and efficiency. Collaborate with customers and suppliers on process-related matters to fulfill organizational needs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial or test engineering
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and formal problem solving tools
- Significant understanding of production processes for electronics controllers and electromechanical actuators assembly and test in industrial and aero environment
- Understanding of EOL test designs and programming
- Experience with production transfers between sites
