Job Summary
Design fixtures, program, and optimize automated dispensing equipment to ensure high-speed, accurate, and consistent PCB manufacturing. Provide technical support for production materials, determine inspection criteria for incoming components, and coordinate software and hardware upgrades. Evaluate new equipment, set specifications, and interact with customers to resolve problems and increase product yield. Solve technical product and process problems affecting efficient manufacture within your area of responsibility. Requires 2-4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Salary range is $67,000 - $87,000 CAD/year. This onsite role in Newmarket, Ontario involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents to meet Controlled Goods Program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada
- Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
- Familiarity with industry and quality standards
- CAD Proficiency: Designing or modifying equipment layouts using tools like CATIA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers
- Good organization skills
- Must meet all other requirements under CGP (Controlled Goods Program)
- Candidates must undergo a successful security screening per the Controlled Goods Regulations
