Job Summary
As an Operations Engineer in the Preventions team, you will analyse operational data to deliver actionable insights that improve network performance and resilience, investigate complex operational issues and implement effective engineering solutions, develop automated surveillance tools to identify and mitigate emerging network risks, drive continuous improvement through automation, innovation, and process optimisation, and collaborate across teams to enhance operational capability and data-driven decision-making in water and wastewater networks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or relevant degree from a recognised institution
- Proven technical experience in operational engineering
- Experience in providing technical support functions on water and wastewater networks
- Demonstrated ability to understand the technical dimensions of operating a water utility and the associated regulatory obligations
- Confident in providing technical guidance to achieve operations targets using appropriate methods, tools, processes and software
