Job Summary

Operations Engineer responsible for the day-to-day delivery, maintenance, and support of Telegraph Media Group's business-facing productivity and corporate applications stack. Provide 2nd/3rd line support to a user base of ~1,700, manage tickets, triage operational issues, conduct system health checks and monitoring, assist with configuration changes and policy applications, contribute to internal knowledge base and documentation, participate in project rollouts, and support BAU operations with 08:00–18:00 on-site hours and 24/7 on-call rotation once trained. Essential skills include IT technical support experience (Level 1/2), cloud productivity platforms (Google Workspace or Office 365), cloud identity concepts (SAML, OIDC), troubleshooting and analytics, strong written and verbal communication, ITIL and Agile awareness, and interest in Generative AI tools. Desirable skills cover ITIL foundations or Agile certifications, Google Cloud/Workspace or Okta certifications, Windows Server exposure, scripting basics (Google Apps Script, JavaScript, Python), and familiarity with enterprise Service Desk and Knowledge Management tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in IT technical support (Level 1 or 2)
  • Foundational experience with cloud productivity platforms (Google Workspace or Office 365)
  • Foundational awareness of cloud identity concepts (SAML and OIDC)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Agile delivery methodologies
