Job Summary
The Operations Engineer serves as the technical execution lead for all assigned projects within the product line, owning end-to-end project journeys from production planning through quality inspections to final delivery. Responsibilities include managing 15-20 active projects, developing and monitoring detailed schedules, coordinating with production to align milestones with client delivery, identifying risks, conducting progress reviews with internal teams, coordinating handover activities and client acceptance, ensuring conformance to client specifications, reviewing technical documentation and drawings, coordinating quality inspections, managing NCRs with root-ccause analysis, overseeing supplier/Subcontractor performance and third-party inspections, maintaining comprehensive project records, and providing regular status updates to leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience; ISO 9001/AS 9100 knowledge and ERP/PMIS familiarity are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, project engineering, or manufacturing environments
- Experience in vehicle manufacturing, fire-fighting equipment, or specialist vehicle sectors is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality standards
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and PMIS documentation systems
- Experience in supplier management and third-party inspections
