Job Summary

Define and manage system requirements, risk, and integration strategies for NASA AFRC manned and unmanned projects. Support aircraft operations, modifications, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting while maintaining configuration management for manuals and directives. Lead flight test planning, develop autonomous aircraft integration procedures, and conduct system/component tests to ensure performance and quality control. Participate in safety working groups, analyze project objectives, and recommend solutions to technical issues. Work a 9/80 schedule with core hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., requiring daily onsite presence and occasional local or long-distance travel.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship
  • ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • ability to work a 9/80 WORK SCHEDULE (alternating Fridays off) with core hours between 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Travel requirements: some travel is anticipated both locally and long distance by car or plane
  • Ability to work onsite daily
