Job Summary
Operations Engineer, Global Operations (Starlink) at SpaceX. Lead multi-disciplinary initiatives to implement tactical and strategic business processes for enterprise and government teams, drive end-to-end improvements, and enable a simple, high-quality customer experience. Responsible for developing data analysis/tracking tools to analyze the customer journey, coordinating cross-departmental efforts (engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer service) to synchronize improvements, and participating in design reviews and beta tests for new products and features. Requires collaboration with leadership to steward projects, codify best practices, travel between sites, and compliance with ITAR. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/math/STEM and 3+ years in operations, manufacturing, or consulting are required; ITAR compliance and the ability to work extended hours when needed are noted in the role. Travel between sites and customer sites may be required. Includes emphasis on problem solving, process mapping, visual management, and data-driven decision making to enhance customer experience across global Starlink operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, or STEM
- 3+ years of experience in an operations, manufacturing, and/or consulting environment
