Job Summary
Lead the training and development of emergency response capabilities across P&GA, ensuring readiness and central in delivering incident response communications and engagement. Drive strategic and operational leadership support for P&GA in emergency response incidents across sites; shape programs and strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives. Proactively engage with communities, local groups, and influencers to build mutual trust, monitor perceptions, and address issues. Provide expert advisory on risks and opportunities to leadership, and oversee community grievance management processes. Build cross-functional partnerships across ExxonMobil functions to ensure cohesive messaging and a One Team approach in emergencies. Develop and oversee training plans, including communications, advocacy, and socioeconomic management components, tailored to P&GA needs.
Required Qualifications
- More than 15+ years working emergency response activities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively influence without direct authority
- Ability to develop and train diverse teams
- Excellent business line partnership and stakeholder management skills; ability to connect site-level activities to broader goals and long-term outcomes
- Ability to manage rapidly changing priorities and external events that impact business goals
- Experience in managing activities across a diverse geographic area
- Prioritization and delegation skills - prioritizing work demands from multiple stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player mindset
