Job Summary
Direct and oversee financial, administrative, and operational functions for one or more parishes affiliated with the Archdiocese of Chicago. Drive strategic leadership across finance, school finances, human resources, buildings management, procurement, and communications; manage budgets, variance analyses, capital projects, and donor/fundraising activities; supervise operations staff including bookkeepers, office, and maintenance personnel; ensure internal controls, tax compliance, and adherence to Archdiocesan guidelines; collaborate with the Pastor, Principal, and Vicariate Director to optimize parish performance while upholding Catholic teachings and mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related business practices
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Experience in Human Resources practices (people leadership, interviewing and selection, policy application)
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
- Not-for-profit or Church management experience preferred
