Job Summary
Operations Director will oversee warehouse/production/assembly functions to ensure receipt, manufacture, assembly, storage, and shipment of product. Oversees warehouse operations, assembly, maintenance/engineering, and customer service. Reports to CEO. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, supervising a team in manufacturing/logistics/assembly, scheduling work assignments, monitoring progress, identifying root causes to improve processes and product quality, and increasing production efficiencies. The role seeks a candidate who can grow into increasing levels of responsibility and serve as a strong successor within the organization. Skills and experience preferred include hands-on leadership, cross-functional coordination, strong communication, process improvement, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR, equivalent combination of related education and/or experience may be considered
- Minimum of 5+ years operations leadership experience, including experience supervising a team in manufacturing, logistics, or assembly environment
- Experience overseeing customer service is a plus
- Proven experience leading and driving operation efficiencies in a small team environment
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office
