Job Summary
Operations Director responsible for daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including service shops. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans; works with cross-functional teams; autonomous within the operational area or a segment of a larger unit. Leads salaried employees, drives continuous improvement, and applies sophisticated manufacturing/engineering techniques to achieve targets in quality, cost, delivery, and safety. Communicates complex concepts to leaders, partners with external vendors, and aligns with enterprise-wide policy and strategic goals. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and program/project management skills are required to guide initiatives and improve products and processes in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in Manufacturing & Operations Management
- Master's degree or higher (or equivalent) in a related field
