Job Summary
Manage regulatory reporting exceptions, cross-asset reconciliations, and metrics while investigating breaks to identify root causes and ensure timely resolutions. Perform investigations on multi-jurisdiction regulatory reporting, material economic terms reconciliation, and governance, including exception management for industry requirements like Inter TR. Deep dive into upstream and downstream system issues to minimize breaks, improve process efficiency, and enhance the overall reporting framework. Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to analyze root causes, execute remediation plans with Change the Bank, and monitor late and accuracy metrics. Take personal responsibility for mitigating risk in controls and escalating emerging risks through clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience in the finance industry in an ever evolving environment
- Knowledge of basic terminologies used in the financial services sector and Trade lifecycle
- Strong knowledge base on at least one of asset classes (SLB, REPO, Margin Lending) or a strong regulatory reporting expertise
- Knowledge of MS suite of products including (Excel, Power point, Share point)
- Experience of working in a vendor setup
- Ability to work in a vendor supported environment
- Experience in handling control processes and sample testing
- Ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to manage conflict
- Expertise in the trade lifecycle and the various downstream user requirements of trade and financial data

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to lead meetings
- Self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and people
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
