Job Summary
Operations Director overseeing Transportation, Operations, and Maintenance; supervises and coordinates departments, develops and reconciles budget and capital plans, collaborates with CFO on long-range capital improvements, oversees construction/relocation of facilities, manages security and safety programs, liaises with principals, architects, and contractors, reviews plans and specifications, and ensures compliance with safety regulations; requires Bachelor's degree in business, construction, or engineering (preferred) and CDL endorsements or ability to obtain; travel to district buildings and meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, construction or engineering, preferred
- Experience in construction, building maintenance, mechanical systems, leadership and budgeting
- Must have Class B CDL, Air Brakes, School Bus, and Passenger endorsements or the ability to obtain by September 1. Training is provided.
