Job Summary
Operations Director leads new product introductions from concept to full-scale production; oversees global plant operations and standardizes processes; drives resource allocation, EHS best practices, and crisis response; develops 3-year operational and capacity plans; leads expansion initiatives, new site development, and capital projects; manages global budgets and P&L, drives cost reduction and efficiency; defines KPIs, leverages data to improve on-time delivery; ensures ISO standards and global regulatory compliance; collaborates cross-functionally to meet customer needs and maintains supplier quality systems.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 15+ years in manufacturing management (electronics or mechanical preferred)
- Experience building and scaling manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel globally (50%+); Mandarin is an asset
