Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Commercial Driver's License Class A with Haz-Mat, Airbrake and Tanker Endorsements and/or the ability to obtain and maintain
• •Previous experience related to grain, feed, fertilizer, chemicals and/or farms supplies
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• •Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the cooperative
• •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and weights
• •The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• •Must be able to think quickly and perform a mental assessment of workplace hazards, take appropriate precautions, and choose appropriate PPE as dictated by need, regulation and labeling
• •Must be able to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
• •Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• •Must be able to legally operate a grain elevator manlift with the door closed
• •Must be able to climb stairs
• •Must be able to climb ladders
• •Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• •Must understand and implement all related safety policies, procedures and programs for prevention and protection while performing job duties in various work environments
• •Must be able to comply with DOT regulations
• •Must be able to comply with safety regulations
• •Must be able to adhere to cooperative credit policy
• •Must be able to present a clean and professional appearance
• •Must be able to work overtime hours as needed
• •Must be able to operate vehicles, large trucks, forklift, and other equipment in a safe manner and maintain a safe driving record
• •Must be able to maintain customer records in route book and truck log per DOT regulations
• •Must be able to maintain the refined fuel delivery truck and report any concerns to management
• •Must be able to make out sales tickets as deliveries are made and prepare the daily delivery report
• •Must be able to report to management opportunities for increased sales and improved efficiencies in operation of the petroleum department
• •Must be able to follow directions established for operations, maintenance and equipment of various departments in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Manager
• •Must be able to set up, fill and delivery of totes and tanks
• •Must be able to maintain the warehouse
• •Must be able to load and unloading products
• •Must be able to perform general housekeeping duties, maintain clean work areas, and secure equipment and facilities when closing
• •Must be able to provide a high level of customer service
• •Must be able to promote and adhere to the company Core Values of honesty, integrity & teamwork
• •Must be able to work with other cooperative staff at other locations to ensure cooperative goals are met
• •Must be able to adhere to safety policies
