Job Summary
Operations, Data & Policy Analyst responsible for drafting and analyzing policy and procedures to advance program development, reviewing legislation to operationalize requirements, creating tools to track policies, maintaining electronic policy formats, and evaluating DEI/EEO initiatives. The role involves collaboration across CEI and Human Capital, drafting memoranda and guidance, designing surveys, and leveraging data to identify program needs, risks, and improvements within the City of New York’s DCAS and CEI framework. Proficiency in policy analysis, compliance, and stakeholder coordination is required, with advanced degrees and relevant experience in physical/biological/environmental/public health sciences or related fields. The position reports to the Director of Policy and Program Development and supports the rollout of legal mandates and program development across City agencies.
Required Qualifications
- master's degree in an appropriate field or in public health or related field
- doctorate degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an appropriate field of physical, biological, environmental or social science or in public health
- one year of full-time supervisory/administrative or research capacity for Assignment Level II and above
- two years of experience substitution for Level I
- probationary period of one year
