Job Summary
Oversee all inventory control functions at the branch, including integrity management, non-productive inventory identification, and independent branch purchase controls. Manage administrative requirements such as phone services, invoicing, AS400 file maintenance, HR scheduling, and facility security. Supervise warehouse and delivery operations by optimizing fleet maintenance, ensuring stocking standards, and maintaining picking fill rates. Enforce safety and health policies while acting in a backup capacity to the Branch Manager as required. Requires post-secondary education, three years of wholesale distribution experience, forklift certification, and a satisfactory criminal record check.
Required Qualifications
- Post Secondary education in Business or related field
- minimum of three(3) years work experience in a similar role
- preferably in the wholesale distribution industry
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of business and management principles and techniques
- in depth understanding of the Company's operational system
- issues that exist in the wholesale distribution industry
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
