Job Summary
Monitor routes, ensure Independent Contractor check-ins are complete, and communicate updates to customers and dispatch to maintain on-time delivery. Create routes per customer requirements, restructure paths as needed, and verify that contractors provide the correct vehicle type and comply with regulations. Communicate delays, process daily service reports, and assist contractors with issues or paperwork. Arrange STAT coverage when requested and follow up on contractor documentation. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean vehicle, and work overtime as necessary. This entry-level role supports operations for Life Science and other clients, requiring TSA security training if assigned to regulated cargo.
Required Qualifications
- Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience
- Proactive and resourceful
- Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline driven
- Must maintain valid driver's license and clean, functional vehicle
- Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- College Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must successfully complete a TSA Security Threat Assessment and all required TSA security training prior to performing any function involving unescorted access to regulated cargo
- Must obtain and maintain all required Life Science certifications within ninety (90) days of hire
