Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate deliveries, relocations and installations for key customers; book jobs on internal system, raise paperwork and maintain up-to-date information in the company database; understand customer requirements and provide quotations; liaise with customers to keep them updated through the entire order lifecycle; manage orders end-to-end, sign off supplier purchase orders, ensure 100% job-file accuracy, support team members and liaise with internal staff to deliver professional service; typical tasks include handling ad-hoc customer enquiries by phone and email, inventory management, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation and communication. Role is based in Ashford, UK with an emphasis on logistics coordination and customer-focused service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Customer Service experience in a similar role
- Experience in transport/logistics or Installations environment desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail and customer-focused
- IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong team player with flexible positive attitude
- Capacity to work extended hours at peak times
- Ability to work on own initiative and solve problems
