Job Summary
Oversee daily animal care and related activities for the Laboratory Animal Resources division, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations, NIH Guide, and Good Laboratory Practices. Coordinate the training, development, and assignment of hourly personnel while managing husbandry equipment and validating sanitation and environmental procedures. Maintain accurate animal source and transaction records, develop standard operating procedures, and collaborate with research staff to support drug development and discovery efforts. Rotational weekend and holiday duty is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in a Research / in vivo field
