Job Summary
Operations Coordinator at Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum located in LaVergne and Nashville, TN. Responsible for supporting daily administrative, operational, and guest-service functions, coordinating calendars and meetings, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting leadership with special projects. Requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, customer-service focus, ability to manage confidential information, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced museum environment with occasional evenings/weekends. Experience in administration, hospitality, or related fields and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; to work across museum offices in LaVergne and Nashville.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required with an associate’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative, operations, office coordination, hospitality, or related experience
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite or software
- Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information professionally
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with key stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift 25 pounds
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
