Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator will support the school operations team in day-to-day activities, providing logistical support for school events and activities. Responsibilities include coordinating purchasing, supporting the School Nutrition Program, managing attendance procedures, and ensuring accurate student data. The role requires building relationships with families and assisting in communications. Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, preferably a Bachelor’s Degree, and at least a year of relevant experience in a school environment. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in office procedures are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- At least one (1) year of experience working directly with students, preferably in the charter, private, or public school environment.
- Experience in proper office procedures, including filing, answering the telephone professionally, photocopying, greeting all visitors cordially, and handling information with confidentiality.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in schools and urban communities is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule outside of regular business hours.
- Aptitude to create and work within an inclusive environment that honors and supports a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.
