Job Summary
Coordinate and support a wide range of training and development activities by assisting the depot contracts manager and assistant operations manager to ensure smooth business operations. Maintain accurate records in EP Morris, build relationships with the depot management team, and plan driver schedules while allocating resources effectively. Take meeting minutes, conduct CCTV analysis post incident, and manage driver interviews for return-to-work meetings. Cover driver duties, sickness, and vehicle breakdowns, including troubleshooting issues, emergency road closures, and diversions. Ensure all accident reports are completed and communicate with customers while maintaining legal compliance for driving hours.
Required Qualifications
- Full Cat D Licence (PSV licence)
- Experience in an operational or transport environment
- Experience in DAS Trapeze driver hours monitoring system
- Experience conducting investigations and preparing formal reports
- Knowledge of domestic driving hours
- Experience in People management and formal process'
- Previous experience working in a public transport control team
- Passionate, organised and people-focused
