Job Summary

Maintain OSI Monarch SCADA software and ensure data integrity between field RTU programming and the master SCADA system. Provide primary technical support for SCADA communication paths, RTU integration, and Monarch troubleshooting; adhere to NERC CIP standards; subject-matter-expertise on ICCP, DNP, and MODBUS protocols; utilize SEL RTAC AcSELerator to manage RTU databases. Coordinate with WETT Engineering to install relay equipment and verify SCADA components are properly programmed and tested; collaborate with IT to troubleshoot TCP/IP paths; oversee third-party contractors, review deliverables, testing, and commissioning activities; serve as the primary point of contact for contractors across SCADA projects and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and IT. Must be available for occasional after-hours support and travel to West Texas facilities; willingness to travel for in-state and out-of-state training; reside within 50 miles of the Primary Control Center. This is a technical role requiring attention to detail, strong problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of applicable experience
  • At least one year of experience with Associate’s Degree in applicable field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and third-party personnel on technical SCADA projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work calmly in emergency situations
  • Good communication and project coordination skills with stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, IT, and external contractors
