Job Summary
Lead and develop the Operations Controller and Operations Administration teams to maintain a high performing, customer-focused culture. Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and workforce development; oversee rostering, workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure operational readiness and service delivery. Monitor team performance, utilisation and operational effectiveness; ensure flight following oversight, operational coordination, scheduling support and cross-team communication. Maintain compliance with procedures and frameworks; monitor operational reporting, KPIs and trends; identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and provide governance to ensure the Operations Centre supports Microflite Aviation's operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing operational teams
- Experience within aviation operations, operational control, logistics or emergency services is highly regarded
- Strong workforce planning, rostering and resource management capability
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Analytical, problem solving and decision-making capability
- Experience driving operational performance, process improvement and procedural compliance
- High level organisational, reporting and administrative skills
- Proficiency with operational management systems and Microsoft Office applications
