Operations Associate-Stifel Support

Job Summary
Manage large volumes of incoming calls and branch inquiries while accurately providing phone support and adhering to departmental procedures. Act as the company gatekeeper for Stifel information by researching branch procedures and industry questions, then escalate potential issues to leadership as needed. Maintain detailed records of caller interactions and provide timely updates on job progression to supervisors. Collaborate with team members, branch personnel, and clients to deliver high-quality customer service through written and verbal communications. Requires strong organizational skills, active listening, and working knowledge of financial services applications and systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 0-2 years' professional business related experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on open tasks
- Strong communication skills including phone contact handling and active listening
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to learn Stifel's applications, industry rules/regulations and Stifel policies that pertain to the department and Stifel's branches
- Working knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology and procedures
- Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Internet Browsers; including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Safari
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant career experience
- Thomson One, BETA & Salesforce knowledge
