Job Summary
Operations Associate for grain and agronomy operations responsible for operating equipment, receiving, drying, unloading grain, measuring inventory, assisting with fertilizer and chemical operations, and maintaining facilities and housekeeping. Travel to locations to support operations and provide prompt, professional customer service to farmer-owners and customers. May operate a train locomotive and obtain training certificate on locomotive operations where applicable. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required licenses/endorsements (including USDA weighing & grading license, handlers license, and Class A CDL with endorsements) and to meet DOT physical. Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and databases is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate licenses and endorsements applicable to the location which may include USDA weighing & grading license, handlers license, and Class A CDL with required endorsements and maintain current DOT physical.
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and databases
