Job Summary

Liaise with Operations Managers to optimize aircraft supply against forecasted passenger demand and leverage proprietary software to price, track, and optimize routes in current and developing markets. Monitor weather patterns, events, and external issues to mitigate flight delays or cancellations while cultivating potential sales relationships with fliers. Partner with Flier Relations, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional passenger experiences across all product offerings. Maintain accessibility on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This role supports growth initiatives within BLADE's global air mobility platform focused on accelerating the transition to eVTOL aircraft.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, aviation, business, or related fields that emphasize problem-solving, operations, or analytical thinking
  • Comfort with high-stakes, time-pressured decision-making (weather delays, crew changes, mechanical issues cascading through a schedule)
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Data-driven mindset — using historical performance data to anticipate bottlenecks (weather patterns, maintenance downtime, crew availability)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Highly collaborative; ability to work with stakeholders from various parts of the business
  • Maintains accessibility on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Entrepreneurial hustle and proven self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift high-quality execution by analyzing problems and calculating risks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in operations, logistics, or dispatch, ideally at a high-growth company
