Job Summary
Conduct physical set-up and tear-down for public and private events, including tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies. Inspect facilities and equipment, report issues, and perform minor maintenance. Maintain public areas, parking lots, loading docks, and storage rooms in a clean, safe, and efficient manner. Perform venue care duties such as polishing floors, cleaning furniture, and disposing of trash. Adhere to custodial procedures, MSDS, and proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment. Work flexible hours during normal business hours, evenings, and weekends, averaging 10-20 hours per week with fluctuations during busy periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Current, valid driver's license
- Current working telephone with a number that can be accessed by building management personnel
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to maintain a calm, composed presence in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Close vision

- Color vision
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work flexible hours during normal business hours and evenings & weekends
- Ability to work a varied schedule under diverse conditions and according to sometimes stringent time schedules
- Willingness to obtain certifications that may be necessary to perform job functions
