Job Summary
Operations Assistant responsible for shipping/receiving documentation, inventory control, and warehouse operations on the 1st shift. Role involves working on the warehouse floor with material handling, coordinating inbound/outbound/domestic/international shipping, maintaining WMS accuracy, hand-held RF terminals, and communicating with client representatives and trucking/transportation providers to ensure timely, accurate information and service levels. Requires experience with a commercial WMS (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.), and duties include preparing and auditing packing lists, driver documents, stocking updates, and ensuring proper receipt, stocking, and shipment of product. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- 6 months warehousing experience (preferred)
- Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc. (preferred)
