Job Summary
Track outbound loads daily, ensuring system updates are accurate and timely while proactively communicating delays to leadership before 11 AM. Manage driver documentation, including IC paperwork and compliance materials, and manifest inbound and outbound freight to maintain accuracy across systems. Schedule delivery appointments, coordinate redeliveries, and enter ACR authorizations into systems with precision. Resolve operational exceptions by tracing freight and investigating shipment issues across terminals and agent networks. Monitor printer functionality and provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and imaging. This role supports Roadrunner's Smart Network, which offers more direct long-haul metro-to-metro routes than any other nationwide LTL carrier.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability in situations with limited standardization
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach/handle items, work with fingers, have color vision, talk and hear others in conversations via the phone or in person
- Occasional ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance and lift objects up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 months of relevant administrative or operations experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with AS/400, Microsoft Office, and imaging tools
- Foundational math skills and comfort working with weights, distances, and monetary values
- Hazardous Materials Handling certification
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or terminal operations
