Job Summary
Operations Assistant Manager who supports the Store Manager in day-to-day functions, drives customer service and team development, facilitates merchandise organization from delivery to sales floor, and ensures store standards. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, ordering and handling merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom, supervising and training store associates, and upholding a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff. Requires ability to lift up to 55 lbs, effective communication, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Location-based role based in Virginia Beach, VA. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem solving skills
