Job Summary

Oversee student degree progress records, registration services, and curriculum management within the Registrar's Office. Evaluate degree completion eligibility, coordinate diploma processing, and maintain transfer equivalency data in collaboration with academic departments. Administer the student information system, ensuring data integrity while developing reports to recommend process improvements. Serve as a liaison among students, faculty, and campus stakeholders to support institutional compliance and student success. Maintain departmental web content and manage administrative functions including purchasing and budget support.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree and two (2) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education administration, registrar services, enrollment management, academic records, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in a web-based catalog/curriculum system, database management
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems (Ellucian Colleague preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of student records, registration, curriculum management, degree audit processes, and academic policies
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and student support
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based productivity tools
  • Experience with student information systems, preferably Ellucian Colleague or similar enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of relational databases, reporting tools, and data management practices
  • Experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional projects
  • Knowledge of FERPA and other applicable higher education regulations
  • Experience with digital imaging, workflow automation, and electronic records management systems
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as operational needs require
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding institutional data
  • Location: 205 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (In-Person)
  • This position is an on-site position
  • Occasional work outside of standard office hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to meet production deadlines or departmental needs
  • Tasks may involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, or using a force equal to a minimum of fifteen (15) pounds
