Job Summary
Lead technical baseline management and configuration control across Product Support disciplines including RMT, LSA, ModSim, and PHM. Coordinate with the O&S Program Manager to execute programs within established cost and schedule baselines while ensuring adherence to sound engineering processes. Provide guidance on top design and architecture approaches, drive reuse of design concepts, and lead critical technical reviews such as Integrated Baseline and Preliminary Design Reviews. Maintain cognizance over program integrity, manage risks, and ensure alignment with USN customer and partner objectives. Report to the Chief Engineer and work closely with senior management and stakeholders. Requires a Secret clearance, ability to travel 25%, and 14+ years of experience in aircraft product support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 14 years of related professional/military experience
- Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related professional/military experience
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
- Your ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Top Secret clearance
- Ability to travel as needed (approx. 25%)
Desired Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience with NAVAIR SETR Process for PDR, CDR, etc.
- Experience across lifecycles including Research and Design, Product Development or New Product Introduction, Production, and Sustainment
